| Syncom to Celebrate Twelve Years This February, Synergetic Communication, Inc., better known to all as Syncom, celebrates its twelfth anniversary. Founder and current CEO Michael Orlando started the company the same year that the Dallas Cowboys won their third straight Super Bowl over the Pittsburg Steelers in a 27 – 17 upset. He started with one collector, a couple of clients and worked out of cardboard boxes filled with loan documents. “We worked long hours in a tiny little office in northwest Houston,” commented Orlando. “The manufactured housing industry knew that Syncom could collect their paper better than anyone else in the business and that’s what the foundation of the business was,” continued Orlando. Once they got started, there was no stopping them. Clients came on board and the company grew.
By the time Bill Clinton defeated Bob Dole in that year’s presidential race to begin his second term as the nation’s 42nd president, Mike and his crew were well on their way to success and that success continues on today as they make their way toward twelve years in business. Today Syncom has three offices, 125 employees and a wide variety of clients. As we enter another presidential election year, Syncom is prepared to grow, yet again. New clients will be brought aboard and Syncom will show them the “Syncom Way”.
